If there is a congregation forming to look upon His mermaids, I will gladly join. If the tales are true, then He has given us two miracles in as many weeks. This cannot be a coincidence. His gifts are surely linked, and by studying one we may yet come to know the other.
You say we should go armed. I have my hook, and He is always watching over. Is that not enough?
