If there is a congregation forming to look upon His mermaids, I will gladly join. If the tales are true, then He has given us two miracles in as many weeks. This cannot be a coincidence. His gifts are surely linked, and by studying one we may yet come to know the other. You say we should go armed. I have my hook, and He is always watching over. Is that not enough? |

Hmmm.... Maybe we should try to see how many mermaids there are? They might be useful for helping wolves that fall into the sea. I don't think they want to help Willow, please don't get murdered by Mermaids |

That might not be a bad plan. We'd need something to bait them with, but if they've been taking people we can assume they probably like meat, and He has provided us with a great bounty of that. Maybe this is what His wolves are for? |

I wonder what you might suggest instead? i think its a sorta seduction siren song type thing so you probably want to appear to be alone maybe if theres a group of you hide everyone but the one seductee and make sure the hidden faction is heavily armed and also carrying cameras get the seductee to go paddling or something idek. |

here is idea:
- make scarecrow (make it look good), put on hook.
- put scarecrow out on beach alone. maybe have speaker in scarecrow sighing about how scarecrow is lonely.
- wait for siren to come.
- have webcam watching so we can take shifts watching scarecrow (i can volunteer to take a shift)
- wait for siren to try song. (make sure microphone is in place to capture song)
- song does not work, scarecrow has no legs.
- mermaid is tempted out of water to grab scarecrow
- mermaid caught on camera, maybe caught on hook too.
or if we don't think scarecrow is good someone v. brave can volunteer.

But my point is what if that's not how it works what if it fills you with love for the mermaid herself and you immediately have to go and find her?
Just seems more like how it would be in a story, you know.

I will bring my hook and bait. I am willing to be bait if need be, although if they hunt through seduction then surely they are devils and not of His hand?
I have no skill with machinery, so someone else will need to operate the camera if you want a memento that doesn't need pickling.
