Dear all,
I am Janet Smith, of London County Council. I have created an account on this forum as the council believes that this is where some of the members of the public have been collaborating in this effort to "save" some of the wolves, and we believe intervening directly at the source may help mitigate some of the problems.
First and foremost, I must stress this is an international incident, far bigger than any we've seen before. It is taking a lot of man-power from all members of the public sector to work to ensure public safety is maintained. This includes clearing any fallen wolves to try and ensure travel can remain active, helping those who have been adversely affected by wolves, whether this be personal injury, property damage, or anything else, and finally to try and come up with a long term solution to put an end to this problem. This task becomes a lot more challenging when there are several live wolves running around population centres. We have to split our extremely limited resources to cover this additional issue, and it is, we believe, being caused by members of this community.
To this end, we implore you all to stop "saving" the wolves. We, as a council, agree that the wolves shouldn't be dying, but this is not where our priorities lie at this current moment in time, and is currently causing more harm than good. If you wish to spend your time to help with this issue, please respond, and we can put you in touch with a number of community projects relating to the crisis at hand.
If this continues to be an issue, you may be faced with criminal charges for endangering the public, and that is the last thing anyone here at the council wants.
Thank you all for your time.
Yours sincerely,
Janet Smith
